How to Add or Edit Dining Specials (or Move or Delete)

STEP 1:

Log in to your WP Admin panel.

(Use primary domain for multisite admin.)

STEP 2:

Navigate to Dining Specials>Venue from the admin menu.

(Select the venue for which you wish to make changes to the dining specials.)

STEP 3:

Your will now see the list of dining specials for the selected venue.

Add a dining special by clicking on the "Add Row" button at the bottom of the table.

OR hover over the list (where you want to add a special) and click on the "+" sign to add a row.

STEP 4:

Add title:

  • Enter a title for the special.
Add images:

  • Use the "Add Image" buttons to add the thumbnail image, featured image, and flyer image.
You can now upload the relevant image files by dragging and dropping into the Media Library.

(The uploaded image will automatically be selected. If you have uploaded a few images at a time, select the chosen image.)

OR

You can upload the relevant image files by clicking on "Upload Files", then dragging and dropping the files, or use the button to select from your folders.

  • Click "Select" to insert image.
The selected image is now inserted and visible in the row.
  • Repeat for all the images types, filling out all the required images in the row.
Select days:

  • Click and select the relevant day/s for the special.
Days will now be selected.

STEP 5:

Click on "Update" in the "Publish" box to save your changes.

You will also need to clear the cache after all changes have been saved.

Moving specials to change order:

You can rearrange the order of the specials by clicking on the row's number (left) and dragging to the new location.

Click on "Update" in the "Publish" box to save your changes.

You will also need to clear the cache after all changes have been saved.

Deleting specials:

You can delete a special by clicking on the "-" (minus) icon at the right hand side of the row.

Confirmation is required when deleting specials to avoid errors. Click on "Remove" to confirm and delete.

Click on "Update" in the "Publish" box to save your changes.

You will also need to clear the cache after all changes have been saved.

Clear Cache:

To clear the cache (so changes are saved to override browser histories), hover over "WP Rocket" in the editing bar at the top of the page, then click on "Clear cache".

 

Since you have most likely been editing from the primary domain, it is advisable to also clear the cache on the domain for which you made the changes.

To do so, hover over "My Sites" in the editing bar at the top of the page, and click on the relevant site for which you have made edits.

Log in.

 

Now clear cache again, using WP Rocket.
